Our Fixed Fee Schedule

At K&A Solicitors, we believe you should know exactly what you are paying before you instruct us. Our fixed fees cover the full scope of work described, giving you complete certainty from the outset. All fees are quoted exclusive of VAT (currently 20%). Government fees and disbursements are listed separately and are payable in addition to our professional fees.

What is included in our fixed fee?

  • Initial consultation and assessment of your application
  • Preparation and checking of your application form
  • Drafting and reviewing supporting documents and cover letter
  • Advice on document requirements and evidential obligations
  • Submission of the application on your behalf (where applicable)
  • Correspondence with the Home Office and other relevant bodies
  • Updates and notifications at every key stage of your matter

Not included in our fixed fee

  • Home Office / UKVI application fees, Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), and biometric enrolment fees
  • Translation costs for foreign-language documents
  • Interpretation costs (if required at interview or appointment)
  • Counsel’s fees for appeals, judicial review, or tribunal hearings
  • Medico-legal or other expert reports
  • Priority or super-priority service upgrades (payable directly to UKVI)

The fees above are indicative ranges and will be confirmed in your client care letter following an initial assessment of your matter. The exact fee within the range will depend on the complexity of your circumstances. VAT at the standard rate (currently 20%) will be added to all professional fees. Government fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge are set by UKVI and are subject to change without notice. K&A Solicitors accepts no liability for changes to Home Office fees after a quote has been issued.
